I went with Omar because he was willing to go through all the options with me and made very helpful recommendations that included removing the cement fireplace base, changing the direction of the floor layout and width of the wood to make the room feel bigger. Most importantly, he identified that my floor would need some leveling work to remove some of the high/low areas before installation to get the best result. I could tell that the floor wasn't completely level, but none of the other flooring contractors even noticed it or included it in their bids. Omar knew that I wouldn't be happy if it wasn't perfect and quoted a very reasonable fee for the extra work.
